Executive summary
A critical buffer overflow vulnerability in TuneClone 2.20 allows local attackers to achieve arbitrary code execution by injecting a crafted payload into the license registration field.
Vulnerability
This is a structured exception handler (SEH) buffer overflow (CWE-787) triggered when the application processes a malformed license code string. An unauthenticated local attacker can supply a specially crafted payload to the license entry field to overwrite the SEH record and redirect execution flow to attacker controlled code.
