Yesterday's disclosures were dominated by Microsoft Windows, which accounts for six of the ten highest-scored critical vulnerabilities, alongside a CVSS 10 flaw in Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) for Python and a 9.9 in Eclipse aeriOS. The day produced 47 critical CVEs, up 34% from 35 the prior day, and 109 high-priority CVEs, up 35% from 81. Notable entries include CVE-2026-79696 (Google ADK for Python, CVSS 10), CVE-2026-86464 (Eclipse aeriOS, CVSS 9.9), and CVE-2026-69730 (Microsoft Windows, CVSS 9.8), with two further 9.8-rated Android issues in CVE-2026-49921 and CVE-2026-58822. AI application tooling features prominently: the ADK flaw is joined by actively exploited issues in BerriAI LiteLLM (CVE-2026-59822) and the Starlette web framework (CVE-2026-48710), and seven CVEs in total carry confirmed exploitation, including Adobe Commerce (CVE-2026-75650, CVSS 10), N-able N-central, and Google Chrome. Defenders should prioritize the Windows and Chrome updates across the fleet, review any internet-facing Adobe Commerce, N-central, LiteLLM, and Starlette deployments for exposure, and confirm fix status for each in the vendor advisory before assuming coverage.

Teams building on Google's Agent Development Kit for Python should treat CVE-2026-79696 as an immediate review item. Confirm fix status and affected versions for each product directly in the vendor advisory before closing the item.

CVSS score (e.g. 9.1) — severity from 0–10. Red marks critical (9+), orange high (7–8.9).

Exploitability — how hard the flaw is to attack, read from the CVSS vector:

  • Network / Adjacent / Local / Physical — how close an attacker must get. Network means reachable over the internet.
  • No / Low / High privileges — the access they need first. No privileges means no login required.
  • No interaction / User interaction — whether a victim has to do something (open a file, click a link). No interaction means fully automatable.

The lower the bar on all three, the easier to exploit at scale — “Network · No privileges · No interaction” is the worst case: hit from anywhere, no credentials, no victim action.

Actively exploited — confirmed under attack in the wild (CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog). Prioritize these regardless of score.

EPSS · Nth percentile — FIRST.org’s estimated chance a flaw is exploited within 30 days. We flag it only in the top 10% — a statistical signal it’s unusually likely to be targeted, separate from whether attacks are confirmed.
